Unit conversion in mathcad

Hi, I'm facing an issue while converting the unit in Mathcad. Here I attached the issue.

AN_10640450_0-1680244828294.png This was the resulting value of the corresponding equation. But I need the value in N/mm^2.

If I change the unit, it does not result properly.

Arun_15_0-1680248775860.png The resultant value should be in N/mm^2.

Can anyone suggest the better way to solve this issue?

Thank you, Mr.Terry! It's working. Hope this modification doesn't take more time for full calculation.

Cheers

The equation units are out by squared. value

Pardon Mr.Terry, I didn't get what u exactly saying.

Hi,

Was trying to say units of force are made up of mass times acceleration.

Perhaps the equation for Vmin is an empirical formula involving the square root of the unit MPa that is not a unit consistent equation.

Could you provide the equation for Vmin.

Yes, I provide the equation for Vmin.

Here, fck=35N/mm^2

coefficient factor, k=2 (has no unit)

The result should be in N/mm^2. But it doesn't.

Hi,

This is what I mean. The first equation is wrong as it takes the square root of MPa but returns the unit combination you see.  The second equation is correct in that the value of 32 is used in the empirical equation that returns N/mm2

Thank you! Now it's cleared. But, the value of the fck is predefined with the unit. By substituting it in the equation, it takes the value along with its unit.

In this situation, we unable to type the units for every value of the equation manually. It's more work to us. Right?

Hi,

Do not type square brackets into equations or matrices with one element will result.

Here is how to handle when fck has units.
