Question

symbolic math sum over n of cos(nx) yields closed form solution. Sum over n of sin(nx) gives complex result. ??Help

How about this? I'm not sure why Mathcad can't make the simplification on its own.

Thanks! I tried expand but it seemed like I was going the wrong way. I gave up too soon. Who would have thunk it.
