Was working on Manufacturing APPS, all the code in the Things are hidden. How this can be done in Thingworx 9.3 ?

@slangley @c_lowy

Thanks,
Shashi

Hi @pshashipreetham.

I haven't tried it, but it's my understanding you have to make it an extension and then make it non-writeable/editable.  Once it's imported into ThingWorx, the code is hidden.

Regards.

Hi @pshashipreetham.

Could you not just use the security built into ThingWorx to prevent the user from being able to access the entity?  Can you provide more details about your use case?

Regards.

Hi @slangley ,

When a Service(which is "Allow Override" option is enabled) Is inherited from the ThingTemplate to Things, In Things the Code is hidden(not visible), this kind of behavior seen in the Manufacturing Apps. Same process needed to implemented in a use case, but, when service is inherited the code is seen in the Thing.

Thanks,
Shashi
