Set tag value in Kepware from ThingWorx MFG App

Hi,

I created tags in Kepware and could configure and read their current values in Thingworx MFG Apps dashboards. Now, I would like to set the value of tags in Kepware from Thingworx Manufacturing Apps, but not able to proceed in this regard.

Please let know how it can be achieved.

Hi,

This is to demonstrate bi-directional communication between Thingworx MFG Apps and Kepware/PLC. The idea is to send some commands to the PLC like start/stop motor, open/close valve, etc.

If you need the ability to control processing of your devices, change a setpoint, etc. , you can manage this through the ThingWorx Platform via Composer.
