signed extension file does not match digests

Hi,

I want to install Manufacturing apps from Operator advisor.

I have Thingworx 9.1.14

I downloaded the files in version: ThingWorx-Apps-9-1-1-extension-bundle (46 MB)

I get this error when importing extensions.

OA_OperatorAdvisor_7bb8d379-1865-4859-bae5-e24aee8c33d4\OA_OperatorAdvisor.zip signed extension file does not match digests
sco-OrgUserGroup_ce8aa723-601c-4121-9c5e-349c4831e1b0\sco-OrgUserGroup.zip signed extension file does not match digests

At the moment I notice them in two extensions.

I imported the extensions in the order from this article.

https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS321570

How can I fix these import errors?

Do I really need to install another version of TWX?

Thank you for your answers.

Janek

hi JK_10565232

Below article says Manufacturing Apps 9.1.1 is compatible with ThingWorx 9.3.3 or newer versions so TW9.3.7 should be fine.

Article - CS376896 - ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps 9.1.1 compatibility with ThingWorx Platform 9.3.x (ptc.com)

You can download extensions of Manufacturing Apps 9.1.1 from below path:

PTC eSupport > Download Software > ProductFamily : ThingWorx Foundation > Release 9.1 > ThingWorx Manufacturing & Service Apps Extension

For how to import  Manufacturing Apps extensions , please follow the help center.

Thank you for your help.

I have problem with Java SDK version.

Release matrix has information about Java SDK. It should be: Oracle JDK 11.0.12

I download it from this page:

Java Archive Downloads - Java SE 11 | Oracle Polska

I installed it and when I tried install TWX 9.3.7 I had this error:

My Java_Path variable looks like this.

What kind of Java SDK is support?

Oracle JDK 11.0.12 is fine. Below is ThingWorx Foundation 9.3.7.0 Release Matrix

https://release-advisor.ptc.com/releaseMatrix?releaseId=1350

You should set folder path of <jdk-11.0.12> to JAVA_HOME, do not include bin folder in the path.

Hi Wcui,

I have strange situation,

I'm trying to install a dependency named sco-OrgUserGroup.zip

I saw an article about downgrading Java. So I opened this jar to find information about the Java version that was used to write it. It was the version 1.8u121

I installed it, I left it in Java Path and I still have the version mismatch error.

d97\sco-OrgUserGroup.zip signed extension file does not match digests

what should I do? What Java version allows me to import Operator Advisor?

Should I install TWX 9.3 again with Java 1.8?

Best regards,

Jan

I have a TWX 9.3.7 instance(manual intalled) using Java 11.0.12. I imported sco-OrgUserGroup.zip to this instance, it worked.

However, if I upgrade Java to 11.0.17, the import failed with the digests error.

So I suggest to use Java 11.0.12 with TW9.3.

If you already created TW9.3 instance and only need to dowgrade java, remember to change the "Java Virtual Machine" setting of Tomcat if you changed java version.
