I assume that you are referring to Creo Elements/Direct Modeling version 19 (Creo Direct is currently at rev 2.0, so it will be a while before they get to 19.0). I have heard that 19.0 will be out sometime in 2013, probably in the summer. I, too, am curious as to what changes will be included.

today I noticed that the ship date for Creo Elements/Direct 19 is postphoned to H1 2014. So it wont be for this year anymore. More time to add improvements

Does the 'Streamlined workflow for drawing creation in Annotation' mean we can create 2d drawings that are not associated to a 3d model thus doing away with the seperate drafting software ? If that is the case then i will be impressed...!!!

This has been availabe since version 16.

Thanks for that, so simple but never new it was there....!!

Semplified pipe hose creation is like the actual Goodie?

If I remember, it is similar, but enhanced. You have the option of specifying an inner diameter/radius as well as an outer.

For those who don't know yet.

Creo Elements Direct V19 BETA is available now.

NOTE(s):

- Only customers under active Maintenance are entitled to BETA Testing

- Participants of BETA program need to commit themselves to do real and serious testing and reporting of results

- If you fulfill the above requirements contact me and I will initiate the next steps

Max

Dear Max

I have installed V19 BETA B010,but I could't find any improvment.

Do you have the list of fixes and enhancements document for V19 BETA B010 ?

Do you mind giving it to me if you have the document ?

Regards,

yellow

Hi Yellow,

Did you receive the BETA software through the BETA program?

If YES, please direct your questions directly to your contact in R&D.

Regards,

Max

Note. Creo Elements Direct V19 BETA is closing.

Please do not send further requests for BETA participation.

I have currently no information when V19 will finally be released.

Thanks to all who joined the V19 BETA in the past weeks and months, but please

remember that you all signed a NDA - so NO discussion about V19 contents here!

Thanks for listening.

Max

When will there be direct creo elements 19 f000

From PTC Product calendar page

Good point brought up.

http://www.ptc.com/products/support/reactivate/creo-elements-direct/

is NOT up to date, whereas the PTC product calendar gets regularily updated by Product Management.

I will make Product Management aware of the duplicate/different information in the PTC Websites.

still no release data? H1 2014 is nearly there. time to set a date PTC

H1 2014 means "first half (=H1) of 2014"

First half of 2014 ends at June 30, so this is not "nearly there".

Getting antsy! Will we have to wait just two more weeks, or six whole weeks?

Postponed to Q3

Shockingly, you can get the free version of Modeling v19 now:

http://www.ptc.com/products/creo-elements-direct/modeling-express/

Maybe PTC should consider moving up the release of full v19...?

Strangely enough, the file name and the download size is exactly as Express4filename+size.jpg

The files I downloaded yesterday are named:

Creo-Elements-Direct-Modeling-Express4-M010-32-setup-EN.exe

Creo-Elements-Direct-Modeling-Express4-M010-64-setup-EN.exe

I installed the x64, and I don't recognize any 19 features at all.

May be in the next future, PTC will change the file to the real Modeling Express 6.0 (19).

Before tell me V19.0 download is available on 20-June, now delay to 28-June. More disappointed for Creo Parametric 3.0, it delay to 18-July.

19.0 F000 is available now on PTC.com

But Modeling Express 6 still sticked to Creo-Elements-Direct-Modeling-Express4 files.

Now you can download the correct installation files for Express 6.0
