Creo 7 Student license renewal

I have installed Creo 7 and Creo8.

Now, when I start Creo 7 it asks for a renewal of the license. The Problem is that I can install the License for Creo7 but not the license for Creo8.

Furthermore, when I start reo7 it searches for the Creo8 license. The installation for the creo7 license worked, but when I try to install the creo8 license an error occurs.

Hi,

please read following documents.

https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo8_unistudent_standard.pdf

In these documents you can find Product codes. Also you can find there important note ... please go to C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing and delete all the older licenses

This means that you have to:

delete all files from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory
install Creo 7.0
move Creo 7.0 license file from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory to another directory
install Creo 8.0
move Creo 7.0 license file back to C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory
