Educational Account Authorization

When I am trying to activate a license for Creo 8.0 (a license code that was given to my by Academic Support),  I keep getting an error message "authentication failed." I noticed in manage my account in the education tab that Creo is listed as not authorized.  Can anybody help me with this? I have an educational account.
