Helical Sweeps
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help with a complex helical sweep one of my students would like to create? The student has produced a helical sweep to represent a round bar and would now like to add a spring over the top of the bar (to wrap around it) so it follows the same shape. In other words they would like to produce a helical sweep around a helical sweep. Does that make sense and is this possible? Attached is a jpeg of the sweep the spring would need to wind around.
