Http/1.1 Service Unavailable

All the install pdfs link from https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/products/free-software/creo-download/thank-you

fail with the subject error?

 

I found a copy of the creo4 install pdf linked in reply to one of the questions here, but I'm trying to install creo1, and the instruction do not match.

 

Another questioner here asked about installing creo2, and it was suggested here install creo4  and the creo2 and point the creo2 install at the licence from creo4.

 

But, the reason I'm installing creo1, is the creo4 will not install on this OS.

 

Can someone post a working link to the creo1 install pdf please?

Thanks Vladimir.

 

Unfortunately, the second step in that pdf requires that I connect to 'http://apps.ptc.com/schools/Get_HostID.zip', but every attempt to connect to that url results in that same error: Http/1.1 Service Unavailable

Any suggestions for how to proceed?

what is your operating system ?

 

Note: Creo 1.0 is badly done software. Use another version, if you can.

Vista 64-bit. (Other dependancies; don't ask 🙂 )

 

I thought I'd start at Creo 1 and work my way up.
