Question

Installation doesn't recognize licence source

Hi!

I just downloaded Creo 10.0.1.0 to Windows 11. When I'm going to enter the code my school gave me, it doesn't recognize the code. I don't get an error message or anything like that, it just wont search for it at all. I'm entering the hostname code my school provided.

It also says that you can press "Add Licence Source" but I don't have that button.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi,

suggestion ... ask school CAD admin.

Please next time attach picture showing what have you done and values which have you entered.

I did post a photo, but an admin deleted it because that said the code (my school code) was showing (it wasn’t). I’ve asked to specify what was wrong and am waiting for a reply.

We don’t have that at my school, just regular IT. 😞

Hi,

perhaps the code was not intended for a Creo 10.0 installation.

You should find out if the code is not intended to install Creo 9.0.
