Can anybody tell me where to find Pro/E wildfire 5 student version, preferably with a link to a website. I've been looking everywhere. Thanks!

Hi there!

I owned the student version of pro/ wf5 for private use. (250€ + tax) download and creating the online licence did work well. but at least the installation is freezing by the last window you see below. the task is working on response but there's no copie prozess in progress. host is valid system runs win7pro and logged on as admin. i have no more ideas to solve this problem... may be someone have some good advice?

hi again!

i just tried the installation too, same game as before.. firewall or antivir seems dosen't matter..

I use win-7-proffessional 64bit on NTFS.. what i've heared is that win-home-editions can make problems becaus of the FAT32 formatation . . but then we should not have the same problem.. ?!

I also use an W/LAN connection on DSL-ROUTER .. i tried the download with direct LAN (by wire) but it also did not work. the problem thereby might be that the HOST-ID (physikal adress) is not the same. I'm not really sure, but I suppose that they fix the licence on the HOST ID used by download the installer.. but by the way here im running out of knowledge...

I' did send an e-mail to ptc in hope to get an answer solving this problem.. i'll post that for shure. .. may be it will take some time,. not too much i hope! I'm really annoyed about this..

Yes, there is a PTC offer for students. It is for Pro/E WF 5 (32-bit ot 64-bit) or WF 4 (32-bit).

I downloaded all of the files for the student edition of pro 5, and collaborated the license file as directed. the program will not open. please advise!

I am having the issue with installation od the WF5 schools edition. I downloaded the software from PTC website, generated license, and then when "copy files" screen comes up (see attached) , it gets stuck at 2% and does not move. I am running Windows 7, 64bit..has anyone found solution to this issue?

Please use the following download link to download the full media. The one you were trying to install was a install executable via the web. It started setup locally, but pulled the files from the web.

The full download would install it as if you were installing it from a DVD.

I tried to get pro engineering 4.0 and once it downloaded first cd it said server time out???

Hi,

I´m new here and I have a problem. My Creo Elements Pro Schools Edition stopped working today. Yesterday everything was fine and today a cute little window appears when I start that tells me that there is something wrong with my license request.

I downloaded this version in April of this year and the version should be usable for at leat a year.

I put a screenshot of the message in this post.

Please help!

Yes it has. For the current situation the WLAN is the only one activated and no LAN connected.

I remember that I turned between the uses of ProE my LAN- card off. Now I activated it and ProE is happy. I guess by your specific question that you know what´s going on. Would you mind explaining to me? I´m mildly curious.
