Unable to access license server

I am trying to install license server for my school and after the installation that I follow the instruction on my e-mail, I found that the client computer cannot access license server. no matter the Admin page or install license. But locally on the server, the flexnet publisher can be open. And I do not know the admin password of that page. I tried use windows account but it was not work.,

Hi,

I think that FLEXnet represented by lmadmin_ptc service is installed on your license server.

1.] When you launch FLEXnet Admin Web Interface command (accessible via Start button), web browser opens and loads http://localhost:8080/dashboard?vendor=ptc_d page. Default login Username/Password combination is admin/admin

Below mentioned information is related to firewall. You can turn off firewall on server temporarily, before you start changing firewall configuration. When firewall is off, you can access licenses from server without problems.

2.] If you want access http://servername:8080/dashboard?vendor=ptc_d page from different PC, you have enable communication via 8080 port in firewall configuration on license server. I do not know exactly what rule has to be modified.

3.] If you want to get license from server when installing/running Creo on client machine (using 7788@servername notation), you can also enable additional communication. I guess that it is enough to enable communication for lmadmin.exe and ptc_d.exe processes and maybe also for 7788 TCP port.
