fatal error

I installed Creo 7.0 for students. Whenever I try to complete the same part of a model a fatal error message appears. It says: "Fatal error encountered. A traceback has been written to C:\Users\Public\Documents\traceback.log. Please send it to Technical Support."

Why are you asking Creo questions in the MathCAD forum?

Please be more diligent in asking your questions in the proper context.

Creo Student Edition questions should be in the Education forum.

Hi Vittorio,

 

Maybe the crash issue is related to the antivirus installed on your machine that blocks Creo working and brings to crash.

 

Or your graphic card not certified for your creo parametric version you are using.

Hello. Open File Explorer and go to C:\ptc_data. Make sure there's only two folders there (temp and your userid). Remove everything else from there. You can also try clearing cache. Close Creo, go to C:\ptc_data\userid, remove CREO AGENT, workspaces, and startup_creo folders.
