I saw an interesting analysis recently by an engineer that explains and promotes things that are good for the environment and letting people know about things that are a total waste of money and resources. In an analysis of both his and his brother (maybe in-law) EV cars that both had a module that failed causing the vehicle to be inoperable. It is a known defect that can be replaced, but the auto manufacturer would rather keep up with the new vehicle sales and supplying them the newer module than making sure the replacement parts supply chain is sufficiently stocked enough to keep up with the demand. Having a vehicle sidelined for a couple of weeks is not something with which most people can live.

It has been interesting to learn more about a topic like this over the last 6 chapters.
