PTC has financed part of the Millers Branch Solar Farm, a 180 MW solar project in Texas. This initiative is a key part of PTC's sustainability strategy, leveraging a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) to significantly reduce Scope 2 emissions and support our clean energy goals.
We have recently seen good progress on the project and wanted to share an update with you all!
All solar panels and inverters have been delivered and installed, and the team is currently focused on testing, construction of the maintenance building, and other final operational touches. The project remains on target for a summer commercial operation date. Once operational the solar farm will provide significant renewable energy to the grid, directly supporting PTC's SBTi goals.
