Auto zoom-all after entering dimensions annoying.

When insketch mode, if you soom into a tight corner and begin to edit dimensions, any time you hit enter, the sketch will auto zoom all back so the whole sketch is visable. What config do i need to edit to stop this? ive tried auto_regen_views, but this isnt the issue. can anyone give some advice?
