I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM050
I am trying to show fractional dimensions in inches, not feet-inches. For example, 1' 5-3/4" = 17-3/4".
I have tried changing config-pro and I can't seem to find the right option.
In the Dimension Properties window, the Nominal Value shows just inches. Why doesn't it show up that way on the drawing?
Is there a way I can get it to?
Here are the errors that I faced
None
File/Prepare/Drawing Properties
In the dialog box, select 'change' next to Detail Options.
Select 'find' and search for use_major_units.
This should be set to 'no'
Hi AJ,
Thank you for your reply.
I actually tried that, and they still came up as feet and inches in the drawing. Even though it showed just inches in the Parameters.
Is there something else I need to do?
Thanks,
Pam
With the drawing open,In the drawing setup files under
file - prepare - drawing properties - detail options change
verify use_major_units NO
In the config.pro, verify use_major_units NO
open the model that the drawing refers to
under file - prepare- model properties-detail options -change
verify use_major_units NO
I checked all of that and it’s still giving me feet & inches for fractions.
Can you attach the model and drawing? Maybe you can delete all the features in the model except one and share.
