Hiii

I'm kind of stuck here. I downloaded CREO 2.0 but everytime I start it up the window/workspace won't work. It simply acts as a black space and prevents me from seeing what I'm doing. Any one got any ideas how I can fix this ? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled but it had no effect.

Best,

Patrick

    Try this solution https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS28315

    • Refer the http://www.ptc.com/ Platform Support page to find the supported graphic card
    • Upgrade the graphic card drivers if required
    • Check the graphics card setting
    1. For some graphics cards depending on the driver software installed, Predefined Application Specific settings are available as profiles. Set a profile with name "Wildfire" or "PTC-Wildfire" if available.
    2. if No application specific profile is available, try setting Program specific custom settings as given below.
      1. Right click on desktop and select corresponding graphics card Control Panel (example: NVIDIA/ ATI Radeon).
      2. Select "manage 3D Settings" and switch to "Program Settings" tab.
      3. Select the button 'Add', browse and select xtop.exe from Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 <Load Point>\$(PRO_MACHINE_TYPE)\obj folder.
      4. Select "antialiasing-Mode" under settings list and set the value to "Override Any application Sesttings".
      5. Select the next item "antialiasing-Setting" and set the value to 2X (2xMS).

Work around : Set the config.pro option Graphics to win32_gdi and re-launch Creo Parametric

    1. Press Right Click on Creo Parametric shortcut > Properties
    2. Add a space at the end of traget and enter -g:win32_gdi > Ok.
