Creo Parametric 9.0 runs slow and crashes unexpectedly without error messages

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0

I have a colleague, that runs Creo parametric version 9.0 on a Dell precision 3640, but creo will maybe crash 4-5 times a day with little to no warning, minus the not responding ciricle from windows. We went through the complete uninstallation and reinstallation multiple times, and even led to wiping the computer to try solve the issue. We removed any other applications that could have been affecting performance. The pc is also connected to 2 27 inch monitors displaying 2560 x 1600 resolution, but the issue still remained.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear, thank you.

Please update graphics driver to the actual version.

What CPU and graphics card are in the 3640?

CPU is an Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2286G CPU and GPU is Quadro RTX 5000 with 64GB of RAM. Updating the graphics card has stopped the random crashes but the creo app seems to be very slow to work with still. It is the only app on the PC that seems to be doing it.

  • Did you use the recommended driver from your hardware vendor? 
  • Which Hardware do you have (HP ... Dell ... etc)?
  • Which graphics driver version did you have and which one do you have now? 
  • What runs slow? Is it a specific model, action?
  • What about other user on same system, other system?
