Model Tree not updating

Model Tree not updating

We recently upgraded to PDMLink 10 and Pro/E m140. We have a transient issue where the model tree doesn’t update when new components are added. If the user activates the window the components show up. We’re trying to track down if there’s some config setting, but…….?

Anyone else see this (even if in the past as it does appear this kind of thing has surfaced before) or have a “hey, do this” (other than activate the window)?

Thanks, gurus!

Thanks, Charlie!

I’m disappointed that I couldn’t find anything on this (I thought my searches were thorough……sigh).

FYI, m150 is due August 3rd.

Thanks for the quick response!

You have incompatible versions!!!
Windchill 10 requires WF4m190 minimum.
Depending on your build of WC10, you may require a higher build of WF4.
I am doing an upgrade to WC10m030 and it requires WF4m210.

WF5m150 was released early! It is available today.

Had a quick look at the update advisor this morning but didn’t find anything related to this issue...

Anyone have a reference to this bug?

Kind regards,

Frederic

I just tried WF5 M150, on my reproducible data set, and I can confirm that the model tree now updates properly. At least for me and this particular data set...

We are using Creo Elements Pro 5 M160, one of our users has this problem whenever he adds a feature or a part the model tree does not update unless he clicks on Window > Activate.

Has anybody ever seen this before?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

We have the issue on M140 but when I upgraded to M150, the problem was fixed. I didn't even know M160 was available till now. I guess they used M140 as the base.

Steve, Brian... you are right. My guy was using M140. I updated him to m160 and life is good again.

Thanks

Steve
