Newly downloaded Creo 2.0 won't launch

Hey,

 

I just downloaded the student version of Creo 2.0 for a class and for some reason it won't launch when I try to start it up. Nothing happens at all, not even an error message. Also the shortcut icons are blank so I'm guessing something is off. I re-downloaded it but it's still the same. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum, Sarah.

It is very unfortunate that this happens, but it seems to happen a lot.

First thing to do is submit a support request for help from PTC.

(mid-bottom left of the page)

Then optionally confirm here if your computer is complient, your OS, and if your did anything special on the install other than default. It could well be that your OS is keeping the program from starting.

Did you go through some level of registration or license verification?

I wish I had a better answer but have faith; PTC will get to the bottom of this with you.
