Whenever I print to PDF, instead of the file name coming out as the drawing name i instead get
the prefix Creo Parametric - (character that looks like a chessboard), then the file name, then four additional digits.
This is not just Adobe, but with other pdf print options too.
So each time I save I have to delete this extra detail. which is really annoying and time consuming.
But if I save as PDF it screws with text and line thickness.
I can't find where it is pulling this additional detail from, or how to stop it.
Thanks in advance if you can help!
Hi,
just some tips for Save As PDF operation. Your config.pro file must contain following options:
use_8_plotter_pens yes
pen_table_file E:\users\creo7_parametric\pentable.pnt
pdf_use_pentable YES
If you have additional question the simply ask it.
Thanks Martin
Yes, this was already set as this.
Any ideas on the PDF naming issue I am having?

Hi,
I do not use PDF printer to create PDF file representing Creo drawing. I can only provide some advices related saving PDF directly from Creo.
