I'm working on preparing Pro/E assemblies to be rendered and I'm running into a lot of problems with the tessalation program. I'm working with a studio who uses Okino's PolyTrans. After realizing the program can't choose a simp rep to open, I started saving off the reps using "Copy As External" in the View Manager. But sometimes components from other reps come along when importing the simplified external assembly.
Just wondering if anyone has some tips on how to prepare the Pro/E models to be imported into a program like Polytrans.
After all the trial and error, I feel like the answer might have to be rebuilding each model as it's own assembly without the simplifed reps.
Any help is appreciated...
