Remote license

ProE users,

My current set up is I have a floating license on a network to serve out
to 8 users. I want to be able to serve out a license remotely as I have
a user who will be working from home. How do I do this?

Brad,

You could have your remote user establish a VPN connection to your network, then he/she would be able to grab a license remotely. Alternatively, the user could borrow the license, but unfortunately the borrow implementation by PTC is not good and would not allow you to check in the license sooner than the time period it was borrowed. It would also lock out your other 7 users from accessing the license.
