Update...what am I doing wrong?

Went to update from M050 to M100 today and followed the Install from Web option for the update. Got through the install, so Ithought, Creo showed my the wiz-bang progress bars for the options and gave me the "finish" button to click....which I did.


However, upon launching my license it's still M050. Am I missing something by assuming the "upgrade" using the update via web is only a download and not an automatic unistall of old and install of new?

This is an update on my latestattempt to get M100 running. I again went and retrieved my license update via PTC.com and this time I used the Download Manager instead of the "Install from Web" option. I downloaded the M100 zip....extracted all then ran setup.exe.


Most of the files now show an updated date EXCEPT the really important one, "parametric.exe" still has my M050 install date. Why do all the other files have an update except the executable?


Do I need to "point" my start up ICON to a different directory?


FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
