clipping diameter dimensions

I'm back on to wildfire, I have a segmented part and am trying to show the diameter as a clipped dim but I can seem to get this to happen?

Is there a config setting to allow this? its been a while so can't remember

Hi Colin,

To create a clipped dimension do the following:

Select a reference
Hold down the CTRL button and select a 2nd reference
Continuing to hold down the CTRL button, select the 1st reference again
Use the MMB to place the dimension

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Amit's method is for a created dimension. For a shown dimension, use show as linear, and clip witness line (from the dimension properties dialog), IIRC.
