error for ECAD-MCAD collaboration with IDX-File.

Hello everyone,

Working on the ECAD-MCAD collaboration with IDX-File.
Use Creo3.0 for the MCAD department and PADSVX(Mentór Graphics) for the ECAD.

There some problems when I import IDX-File

"Feature with Ecad-Mcad Ids "MGC::Top PCB:: 1134-EXPEDITION"does not exist in the assembly"

I set right setting for config.pro

• ecad_mapping_file = location of the ecad_hint.map file
• search_path = location of the MCAD data

Would be glad if someone faced same problem or see the solution.

I guess there is not any ECAD Designer in PTC. Nobody has not replied this question yet.

Are you trying to bring in an .emn and .emp file? If so there is an issue with Creo reading those files. We discovered a workaround.
