How to access Feedback Images and Thumbnails in Thingworx?

Is it possible to access images themselves in Thingworx not just the URL that is returned with all sessions API call? As Thingworx does not really have a GET call for Images/BLOB.

As documented this needs a GET call. @esabaliauskaite is asking for a way to get the plain image from Insights with a rest call initiated by a service in ThingWorx.
