- Asset Library Filters Now Persist During Navigation
- Asset library filters have been enhanced to ensure that a user’s selections remain selected as they navigate folder structures and/or the left navigation options (My Editor, Created by me, Shared with me, Public, Deleted assets).
- Deep Linking is Now Displayed in Address Bar for Several UI Components
- New deep link functionality has been added to open several components using URL parameters. When navigating the procedure, the URL shown in the address bar of the browser window will always update when selecting different tabs (EDIT, STEP CHECK, PUBLISH, DETAILS) or step cards. Browser history is also supported—clicking the back button directs you to the procedure tab that was previously open.
- Browser Tab Now Displays Additional Procedure Details
- The browser tab has been updated to display additional details about an open procedure including the procedure name, procedure tab (EDIT, STEP CHECK, PUBLISH, DETAILS), and step number. This update will also provide users with a more accurate browser history and allow them to utilize the forward/back functionality mentioned above.
- Step Cards Now Scroll Into View When Clicked
- Step cards now scroll into view when clicked. Prior to this update, if a step card was only partially in view it was highlighted in green when selected but it was not repositioned to allow the user to view the entire card. Following this update, the selected step will scroll into view if the entire step card is not visible when selected.
- Updates to Step Check™
- New Automatic Image Feedback option for steps with Step Check enabled. When enabled, Step Check will suggest images to add as feedback when the Add Feedback window is opened.
- The user experience and interface for guided training when in Setup mode have been enhanced to provide better guidance and instruction to Vuforia Vantage users.
- Existing Advanced Model Targets Utilized for Republished Procedures
- Existing Advanced Model Targets will attempt to be reused when republishing a procedure; previously, the Standard Model Target was always used while regenerating a new advanced model target. This update will allow for optimal tracking when viewing a model-based procedure.
- Note: If the model used in the procedure is changed, then the previously generated Advanced Model Target will not be reused.
Vuforia Vantage
- Web
- When accessing a list of available procedures via https://vuforia.ptc.com/editor/webview, a procedure thumbnail is now displayed to the left of the procedure title.
- The browser tab now displays the title of the procedure that is currently open when viewing the procedure in Vuforia Vantage web.
- RealWear
- RealWear Navigator 520 devices are now supported.
- iOS
- Step cards now remain open at all times; you no longer need to swipe up/down to open/close the contents of a step card.
- Android
- Step cards now remain open at all times; you no longer need to swipe up/down to open/close the contents of a step card.

- HoloLens 2
- While video recording resolution will remain at 720p, the following improvements were made to video recording:
- Video quality is more stable
- Audio quality has been improved

- Updated Minimum Supported HoloLens 2 Operating System for Vuforia Capture and Vuforia Vantage
- The minimum supported HoloLens 2 OS version will be updated to 20348.1432 for an upcoming release of Vuforia Capture and Vuforia Vantage.
- Updated Minimum Supported ARCore Version for Vuforia Vantage for Android
- The minimum supported ARCore version will be updated to 1.31 for an upcoming release of Vuforia Vantage for Android.
