Can we open other applications installed in vuforia studio?

Hi,

 

Can we open other applications installed in mobile using vuforia view by calling it a hyperlink or window.open() in vuforia studio?

Please suggest if is it possible?

Greetings Nithin,

you can but it's limited you mean URIs that is similar to a URL, if the device see it's a http protocol open up the browser application. In Studio the following URIs are supported:

https, sms, tel, geo, ftp, mailto, file, ghttps, ms-local-stream, ms-appdata, ms-appx-web, ms-appx, x-wmapp0, thingworxview, vuforiachalk, vuforiaview.
The Vuforia Chalk Widget for example use exactly this approach.
