Re: How to augment a real size product

Hello Krthk85g,

I have a question :

  • Why is it needed to have a ThingMark so big ?

I suppose that when ThingMark is not completly in screen, tracking is lost.

A quick solution can be to enable in 3D Container, Persist Map.

More details here :

http://support.ptc.com/help/vuforia/studio/en/#page/Studio_Help_Center%2FWidget3DContainer.html%23

To control the size of 3D Model, we can play with 2 Properties.

  • Size of ThingMark
  • Size of 3D Model

By the way, we have a relationship between ThingMark size in real world and size of 3D Model.

So, it is needed to be carreful to keep same size of 3D Model vs real product.

I would recommand to read these articles and this link to Help Center about scale and size :
