Do not allow past dates in Create/Edit screens on Date Fields in Windchill

I have a requirement where I want to restrict the selection of past dates in need date fields in Windchill 11.0, If I update calendar.js it affects searches as well, Any recommendations other than workflow business rules?

That's the only method I've seen, but maybe you might want to open a Support case, to ask if there are some other customization routes feasible, to allow you to get this? 

 

Maybe others will chime in with alternate options.

Yes, This hides past date selection from Search as well which is not ideal.
