How I Can Alert the user on Submit button of Workflow task.Required only for ITO Process ??

Can any one tell us How I Can Alert the user on Submit button of Workflow task. Required only for ITO Process.

Is this right way to build code here.

In workflow-->transitions-->Submit Button--->we have to do code for alert the user before submit Workflow task.    Kindly if any other way means let us know.
