Rest API navigation from part to module variant

Version: Windchill 12.1

What version you are using ? I tried and it Brings empty result on 12.1  

as workaround you can create an alias attribute of datatype Object Reference with mapping 

roleBObject@com.ptc.wpcfg.variants.GenericVariantLink~roleAObject^wt.part.WTPart

This will show the variants on the info page of configurable

Later you can query the alias attribute in Rest using classic get Parts
