We have Windchill PDMe (V 10.2) creating IGES and STEP files while promoting CAD models to Released. WC also creates PDF and DXF files while promoting drawings to Released. The problem is that our CNC programmers want a slightly different version of IGES files to read-in to MasterCam software that the default WC settings are not currently producing automatically.
The CNC guys want the IGES files WC creates with the following options turned on: Surfaces, Wireframes and Datum Curves and Points. By default WC gives the surfaces only. If we create the IGES files individually while in Creo 3.0, we have all these options available and the files come out just the way the CNC guys like.
Any thoughts about how to modify the IGES creation via a config setting or rule, directly out of Windchill?
