Publishing rates will be dictated by the size of the data that they are processing. It is scalable so you can add more workers if you know that you will be processing lots of data in batch then scale them down. There are lots of articles and posts on managing this. But fundamentally, if you hit a patch of large assemblies and drawings, publishing rates will slow down compared to single piece parts or simple drawings. There is now way to managed that unless you do some advanced pre-publishing, blocking or other rules. I had asked many years ago if PTC could do a pre-look to ID large assemblies and direct them to a special worker so as not to clutter the other ones. No answer yet on that.
