Creo 8 no search tab in Windchill server

Hi,

another weird issue after upgrading to PDMLink 11.1 M020. Users moved from Creo 6 to Creo 8.03 and the search tool is not visible in creo parametric.

is it some preferences disabled in creo/windchill? 

 

They have registered windchill server and set a primary server as help center said:

"Search is added to the navigator automatically after you set the primary server in the Server Management dialog box."

The search tab was intentionally removed from Creo 8.0.  From CS353916:

The line from the help documentation you're quoting is specific to the Windchill Workgroup Manager.  This is different from what is embedded into Creo and is used to connect other 3rd party CAD systems to Windchill.  I believe the search tab is still present there.
