Creo View does not get launched from Windchill Standalone browser

I was able to find directions to fix said issue for internet explorer but not Chrome. Please advise.

We had this same issue with Creo View 10.1. Also our Internet properties are controlled by GPO's.

We were seeing these errors message in the PVIEW PROC Logs:

pvsa CvBasicAuthentication Server binding failed. error_str = INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND
pvsa CvBasicAuthentication Error while creating HTTP Stream for server authentication - BindToStorage() failed
- The PTC Article: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS387326 - "Not able to launch Creo View from the browser, pvagent is started and then closed without prompt the login dialog, no Creo View is launched"
  - Did Not resolve the issue for us...

SOLUTION:

We were able to resolve this issue by changing one Internet Property setting:
- Launch inetcpl.cpl > Advanced Tab > Under the Security section > Uncheck the box for "Do not save encrypted pages to disk".
