During IMPORT Operation for Objects Parts with CAD and DOC:..

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.14

Import is not working as expected, getting unwanted errors.

Here are the errors that I faced
Import started...

THE RESULT OF THE IMPORT :FAILED

Hi @RK_10391651 

Have you try to export and import options and variants from one windchill instance to another?

 

if so you need to identify the com.ptc.windchill.option.model.ChoiceMaster with UFID and check what is in your system. There can be another one with different ID and you need to change the source file.

<masterUfid> Is unique i know and there are N numbers of files under Exported Jar files, Including Several other objects each file we need to made the changes?? or there is any master file where we can reflect and update this info??

Hi ,  the seen message can be skipped by keeping existing objects ,see https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.1.1.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/ExpImpPolicyRules_Chp/ExpImpPolicyRulesChp_ConflictMessagesPackages.html
