Supplier Parts are Supplier provided parts or Vendor Parts and They Follow hardward Series or the Version Scheme Supplier releases the Part with . We are managing Supplier parts as Sourcing parts and they are Engineering managed Parts .
Engineering Parts follow- Numeric Series - 01.1. 01.2, ...02.1 ..
We need the same for Supplier parts .
Now in OIR I don't see an option or listed Type for Manufacturer or Vendor Part .
Could anyone please provide the solution ?

Hi,
Both the subtypes Vendor Part and Manufacturer Part are subtypes of the parent "Supplier Part".
It must be possible to have different OIRs for your Vendor Part and also for your Manufacturer Part. We have done it , one of them needed a different LC States and a non-auto generated Part Number. We did only through OIR.
Have both these Subtypes set as instantiable : YES ?
By the way, hope you know the difference between these two.
