How do you delete non-latest version?

Apparently, Windchill 9.1 only allows deleting of the latest version (revision & iteration) of a CAD Document.
Some older posts have indicated that the way to delete non-latest is to use purge.
That's like using a sledge hammer to drive a thumb tack.

Is there any other way to delete a single iteration?
What if I want to delete all revisions & itertations?
Do I have to delete them one at a time, starting with the latest?

This was trivial in Intralink 3.x.

Not unless it is the latest. Like you said below this is trivial in Intralink 3.x.

You can delete as follows:

1. latest iteration of a specific revision
"Delete latest iterations of each object selected in the table"

2. All iterations of a specific revision
"Delete all iterations of each object selected in the table"

3. All revisions (and iterations) of an object
"Delete all revisions of each object selected in the table"


And then only if the object(s) you are attempting to delete are not referenced
by some other object such as a promotion request.

Randy, you can use the Java API to delte any version in Windchill.

I think deletion of earlier iterations are not possible in PDM Link when latest iteration is available.

There are API's where FROM and TO iteration can be given for deletion.
