How to Export BOM for Replacement parts | Alternate-Substitute in PDM link

Hello users,

In PDM-link Structure BOM,

Apart from part icon, Replacement parts display as child parts.

While exporting the BOM, how to differentiate it and send it to supplier/other Unit.

Note: Using PDM link only, not project link.

Do you need to send the replacement parts? I would not display them and send just the BOM.

Yes, as a option I need to send the replacement parts also.

Is there a way the others should treat them as a replacement part not as child part by seeing the BOM structure?

Have you try an export to importable spreadsheet?

You can chose to export the replacements and it is in separated sheet.

It is not so nice but maybe it is better then the BOM export with replacement.

Also keep in mind that a unit is same for replacement part as the original part. So the unit is same.
