The Customer has a number of released objects which he wants to check out and edit/change without affecting the released objects.
he uses ProjectLink, but he miss a solid way to handle changes to already released CAD objects. These changes might not be used in the future, but then he has to revise the CAD objects in order to make changes.
more accurately ,The issue is that the user want to explore new design options on released CAD files.
In order to "lock" the files to a specific user, the user needs to check the file out and not just use "continue" option in Creo/CAD.
Sometimes the investigation does not lead to new design and sometime sit does.
It's the situation during the investigation where they don't know IF the change is implemented or not, hence the question.
How to handle this situation?
Thank you for any helpful idea.
