I'm encountering an issue when creating a new Manufacturing (MFG) part that has an equivalent part with an Image or Contributing Image link.
According to the Help Center [link], this capability is intended to be used when creating a New Downstream Branch/Part. However, instead of retrieving the image-linked representation, the system is pulling the owner representation, which leads to incorrect positioning in the resulting structure.
The main point I’d like to clarify is:
Is it possible to create a new manufacturing branch/part without mispositioning, assuming the upstream part has an image link to the CAD Document?
Is there a supported or recommended approach to ensure the image-linked representation is used correctly during transformation?
Any guidance or best practices to avoid this behavior would be greatly appreciated.
Note: build the mBOM from the Design Part works as expected. The issue only occurs when a new MFG Part is created.
