Intralink fails to take license after initial Toolkit load

Some collegues are having trouble with Intralink after loading Toolkit. The server seems to be running, one user can still login and gain access from his computer, but they cannot login from another users computer. To make things even more strange, they cannot login from the actual server either. The specific error is 'failed to take or refresh license'. Also, PTCSTATUS says there is only one license of Intralink and that it is NOT in use.
