Moving data between Windchill Servers

Designation: Non-SSA/Finmeccanica

Hi all,

Intralink 9.1 M050

I have a scenario;

A sister division is currently using our local Intralink server with a
Remote file server established on their site for better performance.
They are in the process of building their local infrastructure to stand
up their own hardware and I need to take a large portion of our
Windchill data and move it to their new server installation. This data
exists under a single product context and once moved will be removed
from the current server.

The only option I could think of to accomplishing this task is use
re-hosting to populate the new server and then remove our (Fort Walton)
data. Anyone having additional thoughts on how to perform this, I would
appreciate it.

I would say you are on the right track. Re-hosting is the only way I can think of. However, with re-hosting, you are taking the whole data and not just a portion of it.
