Multi-level Report using Effectivity

I’m trying to export a filtered BOM to xls for end item using Multi-Level BOM report. To do so I want to use Service Effectivity filter – but the Effectivity Type pulldown is not populating. Should I not be able to select Serial? I’m after attached – but filtered by code (wmh-12342).
