Option to allow part data to load with missing required fields

When using Partslink and defining some attributes as required, we are unable to load legacy data that might be missing some of this data.  Is there a setting we change that allows the part data to be loaded (via importable spreadsheet) if it is missing required information?  The premise here is to get the legacy data in but prevent new parts from being created without the required data.

We are not seeing this be the case.  We have some required numeric values and they are failing to load.

I will confirm that this is the case and provide the errors we are getting.
