PERFORMANCE ISSUES MAY RESULT FROM FAILING TO USE WCA!

This message is written to the MS log during startup if Windchill detects that you haven't run the Winchill Configuration Assistant on the system. When you run the WCA, it will examine your system and set optimal values for certain performance related properties, like cache sizes and memory tunings. This isn't necessarily needed on a dev/test system, but should absolutely be run on a production system. You can find infomation on running the WCA in article CS40876.
